My name is Kyra Cole. I grew up in Parker, Colorado and attended Renaissance Elementary from Kindergarten until my sixth grade graduation in 2011! I was unable to attend the secondary school as it opened after I was established in High School. Today I am fulfilling my dream of going to Renaissance Secondary - by teaching here. I am a firm believer in, “Crew, Not Passengers” and hope to make learning both a creative and community endeavor. 

 

I earned a Bachelor’s degree at Grinnell College in Physics and went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing and Education from Goldsmiths University in London. Ask me about living in London, the origin of the universe, or the importance of storytelling and I may not stop talking!
