Britt Jesperson

Learning Guide

Hello, my name is Britt Jesperson and I am very thankful to be part of the Renaissance 2019-2020 team.  I was fortunate to join RSS at the end of last year.  I fell in love with the expeditionary learning model here at RSS because of the way we embrace the differences in the way our students learn.

As an RSS Learning Guide, it is my responsibility to help each student learn how they learn and help them to grow into becoming lifelong learners. One of my favorite quotes is by Albert Einstein. “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life thinking that it is stupid”.

I was born and raised here in Denver, Colorado.  I have a lovely wife (Dawn), a 17 y/o son (Joseph), and 2 dogs, and 1 cat.  We love to go camping, hiking, and fishing.  I am the owner and lead instructor of a self-defense/fitness school in Aurora.  I recently finished my master’s degree in special education from Colorado Christian University and plan on continuing my education in Autism Spectrum Differences.

I look forward to working with you and your children to make this school year a wonderful success.
