Hello, my name is Courtney Jackson, or Profe Jackson to my students, and I am thrilled to be joining the RSS team as your Spanish teacher for the 2019-2020 school year! I am a Southern girl, born and raised in Georgia for most of my life. I live in Castle Rock with my fur baby, a husky, named Sheeba. When I am not at school, you will find my running, reading, star gazing, and traveling. If you're lucky, you'll find me doing all of those activities at the same time!

I chose to teach because I love to inspire others to pursue knowledge in a new way. I choose to continue teaching because I love watching my students grow in the language and realize the possibilities that Spanish provides. Learning Spanish has provided me the opportunity to meet and create relationships with an entirely new group of people. It has brought me adventures in travel that I never thought possible. Most importantly, it has brought me the opportunity to introduce hundreds of students to something that I love, and hope that they will one day come to love as well.
