Hi there RSS Community! My name is Danielle Schafer, and I am so excited to be joining your CREW! I have taught middle school social studies for all 5 years of my teaching career and I am looking forward to bringing that experience into the high school side of things, and incorporating language arts into our studies of the fascinating world we live in! In addition to teaching social studies, I have also run Student Leadership Club, Yearbook Club, and coached Girls' Volleyball. Learning, particularly about the world around us and the people within it, is by far my biggest passion - I cannot wait to share that passion with you, and learn along side you! 

 

My family is my everything! I am a proud Army wife, and mom: I have my husband, Adam, two-year-old son, Dennis, Doberman-mix, Ruger, and Rottweiler-mix, Mae. More than anything, my favorite past time is being with my family. Within that context though, I love playing & exploring outside, learning & reading, doing arts & crafts, traveling (especially back "home" to Michigan), and trying new food!
