Deborah Lemmer has over 24 years of experience in education. She has taught early childhood, elementary and middle school grades. She trained and worked as a Reading Recovery Teacher Leader, training teachers throughout Northeastern Colorado. She has served as Literacy Specialist and Curriculum Designer. For the last 16 years, she has provided leadership in the role of elementary principal.

Deborah has been the principal for Renaissance Expeditionary Learning Outward Bound Elementary Magnet School since 2006 and is inspired by and dedicated to the vision and mission of this unique school.

Deborah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Regis University and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Nebraska.
