Shawn and his family have been actively involved in the Renaissance community since 2009. His two boys attended Renaissance Elementary, and the education and life skills they received there continue to positively impact their lives. Over the years Shawn and his wife have been able to chaperone voyages, help organize school fundraisers, volunteer in the classroom, and even work at Renaissance Secondary. They love the community!

 

Shawn was a founding board member at Renaissance Secondary, helping take an idea sketched on a napkin to the thriving school it has become today. After a few years away from the board after his initial term ended, he was thrilled to start his second term in 2022.

 

Shawn is also a member of the Arapahoe Community College business advisory board.

 

In his professional life, Shawn is currently a management consultant, utilizing the same design thinking and growth mindset strategies embraced by Renaissance to solve real-world business problems. He has also worked in online education in the primary, secondary, and higher education spaces.
