The 2018-2019 school year will be my first with Renaissance Secondary School. I am thrilled to be a part of such an innovative school that supports student learning while placing an emphasis on crew, adventure and service. This unique approach to education encompasses values that are the building blocks to creativity and leadership. What an exciting opportunity for students and educators!
My family and I come from Illinois, where I have been a school social worker for the past 10 years and a private practice therapist for 5 years. I earned a Masters in Social Work from Aurora University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Louisville. My professional experience has been in the school, clinic and hospital settings. I have worked with children from K-12, and particularly enjoy working with students in the middle and upper grades.
My husband and I, along with my daughter and son, are excited about exploring the beautiful state of Colorado. We enjoy snow skiing, water skiing, scuba diving, hiking, biking, travel and all things outdoors. We are avid sports fans and big supporters of our Chicago teams, especially the Cubs. I am looking forward to the adventures that await us as we begin this new chapter.
