Athletics

At Renaissance Secondary, athletics are an important part of our school culture. We believe sports build more than just physical strength—they foster teamwork, discipline, leadership, and school spirit.

Our Middle School teams compete in the South Metro Charter Conference, giving students a strong foundation in competitive play and the opportunity to try a variety of sports throughout the year. Each season encourages skill development, sportsmanship, and a sense of community among teammates.

Our High School athletics program follows the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) schedule, providing student-athletes with opportunities to compete at a higher level. Whether representing Renaissance on the court, the field, or the course, our high school athletes gain valuable experiences that prepare them for success in sports and beyond.

Athletic Registration Fees:

  • High School: $200 per sport

  • Middle School: $175 per sport

To sign up, visit our Athletics Registration Page. All athletes must have a completed valid sports physical on file.

Each year, we continue to expand our athletic offerings to meet the interests and passions of our students. If you or your student are interested in starting a new team, club, or athletic activity that isn't currently available, we encourage you to get involved! Please reach out to us at: info@rensec.org

Did you know?

If you/your child is interested in participating in a sport not listed here, state law allows for your child to participate in that sport at their neighborhood school. Many of our students have enjoyed participating in Varsity Sports at our neighboring schools including football, baseball, tennis, and soccer. This is a great way to be a part of the Renaissance community and maintain your rich learning experiences while still participating in 'big school' sports.

Students can even earn PE credit for taking part in sports at other area schools through our Off-Campus X Block program.
