8th grade Math

I am excited to join the RSS crew. In 2019 I graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering. After working for over two years as a propulsion design engineer and system analyst for a large aerospace company, I realized that engineering did not fulfill me. I have always had a passion for education and wanted to inspire students to dream big and exceed their own expectations. I believe every student can be successful once they envision their dreams for their future.

I was born in Anchorage, Alaska, and grew up in the beautiful state of Washington in a Park Ranger family. Most of our weekends were spent outdoors hiking and camping. When I was 10 years old, I had the fantastic opportunity to go to school in Germany which not only led me to become a dual citizen, but enriched my life and helped me see myself as a member of a global community. I have traveled all over the United States and have visited many countries in Europe including Germany, England, Spain, Greece, Poland, and Italy. So far, my favorite European city remains the eternal city of Rome due to its accessible history, amazing food, and friendly people.

After moving to Colorado a few months ago, my cats (Stella and Travis)  and I could not be happier. I met my wonderful girlfriend, Ally, and have enjoyed exploring Colorado. I feel fortunate to have joined RSS with the most amazing students and exceptionally talented and caring staff. I will help my students explore and conquer math concepts and maybe even discover their own passion for math.
