We are proud to be a chapter of the National Art Honor Society (NAHS), recognizing students who demonstrate excellence, creativity, scholarship, service, and character in the visual arts.
 

Eligibility

  • Grades 6–12

  • At least one semester of art at Renaissance

  • Minimum B art GPA

  • Membership based on scholarship, service, and character

International Thespian Society logo
International Thespian Society
PERFORMING ARTS

We are home to Troupe 8694 of the International Thespian Society (ITS), an honor society for middle and high school theater students. ITS is a division of the Educational Theatre Association and recognizes students for their dedication, achievement, and involvement in theater.

Eligibility 

  • Grades 9–12

  • Minimum of 20 Thespian points earned through qualifying theater activities and experiences

  • Up to 10 Thespian points may be carried over from middle school

Thespian-Convention (ThesCon)

Each year, in early December, our Thespian students attend the 3 day Colorado Thespian-Convention (aka ThesCon) in downtown Denver. ThesCon is a gathering of high school students from all over Colorado, where students attend workshops, compete in events and watch productions from other schools.
