Tina Howell is a Librarian for the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. She began her library career with her Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Denver. She started her career with the Federal courts in a summer position creating instructional videos and took on the Emerging Technologies Librarian role in 2017. In this position she works on a national committee facilitating virtual Federal Court Librarian Conference. Tina also works directly with the 10th Circuit Historical Society, editing and publishing the Oral Histories series featuring 10th Circuit judges.
Tina is a native Coloradan spends as much time as possible in the summer at Rocky Mountain National Park. The love for the outdoors in the Howell family has grown with the experiences at RSS.
Tina’s oldest child, a daughter, started with Renaissance in its inaugural year and she graduated in 2020 with the first graduating class. Tina has a son that is now an 8th grader and he started in 6th grade. The expeditionary learning is the biggest appeal to the Howell family. At RSS they have made great relationships with both the families and the staff since the start of the school. Tina has worked on various committees as a parent at RSS and is excited to work on the board.
