Hello! I am so very excited to be here at Renaissance Secondary School!

I was born and raised in Canada and moved to the United States in 2006 after marrying my late husband, who served in the U.S. Navy. Because of his military career, I had the privilege of living all over the country, including Nebraska, Connecticut, Georgia, Hawaii, and Washington State. After his retirement from the Navy, our family settled here in beautiful Colorado.

I earned an Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design and a Bachelor of Education in Fine Arts from the University of Manitoba in Canada. I began my teaching career in Northern Alberta in 1999 and later continued teaching art in Hawaii and Washington State before moving to Colorado.

 

I am a proud mother of five wonderful children and grandmother to two super sweet little ones. I feel incredibly fortunate to share my love of art and creativity with students each day and look forward to being part of the Renaissance community.
