A little independence is appropriate to kids this age 

There is safe passage along sidewalks with crosswalks.

Safety

Considering the young age of students on adjacent campuses, the less traffic coming & going, the better!

Student Parking

For student safety and campus operations, high school students who drive are not permitted to park in the Renaissance Secondary staff lot, Renaissance Elementary lot, or the Early Learning Center lot. All driving students must park at the Metzler Ranch Park lot (by the skate park) and walk to campus.

Carline Information

DROP-OFF

  • Drop-off begins at 8:40am; supervision begins at 8:30am

  • Please pull your car ALL of the way up to the car in front of you before letting your student(s) exit the car

  • Stay in your lane to exit the campus;  please wait for the car in front of you to finish unloading

PICK-UP

  • Please plan to pick up your child promptly after school, as no supervision is provided​

    • All students are dismissed at 4:25pm

  • Heavy car and foot traffic should be expected out of the campus between 3:40pm and 4:10pm due to Renaissance Elementary dismissal

    • Renaissance Elementary parents utilize the Renaissance Secondary lanes and traffic circle for carline

    • If you need to pick up a student between 3:40pm and 4:10pm, please plan ahead to park and walk  ​

  • Cars may line up and allow students to load ANYWHERE along the curb; the center lane must remain open to traffic flow

  • Pull forward as cars in front of you leave

  • Once your child is in the car, you may pull into the center lane to exit

  • We encourage parents and students to communicate location via text if possible, after school hours

OTHER NOTES 

  • Please follow direction from staff and volunteers

  • Use the designated crosswalks

  • Please DO NOT ENTER the Secondary campus from the Early Childhood Center parking lot

  • Please be sure to use ONLY the right lane to exit the Renaissance campuses onto Trail Boss Lane -  there are two incoming lanes
