What up everyone! My name is Haven Johnson and I am excited to come on board as the Technology Coordinator/EA and Film/Media Teacher here at RSS! As a former Renaissance kid myself, is is a huge honor to continue my journey here.
My biggest passion is filmmaking, and I am stoked to share my knowledge and love for film with all of my students. My approach to teaching film stems from my experience in the film industry, and I aim to create classes that teach filmmaking to students at a higher level than most high school film programs. My objective is to teach using industry standard software and technology, so that my film students are always following the correct protocols for their short films.
Outside of filmmaking, I'm huge into music, comedy, pop culture, video games, and LEGO, and you can expect that my nerdy side will come out in almost any conversation.
I'm super excited to be a member of the RSS staff!
