I feel extremely blessed to be a part of the Renaissance Crew! Last year was my first year at Renaissance Secondary School and feel proud to be a part of the innovation this school is bringing to our students and community. I have been in education as a teacher and coach for 24 years and throughout that time I have learned that students learn best when they know you truly care about them. I attained my Masters in Special Education from the University of New Mexico as well as a Bachelors Degree in University Studies with an emphasis on Psychology and Sociology. Throughout my career in education I had the opportunity to teach at high schools, middle schools and elementary schools in Albuquerque, Las Cruces, and Phoenix, AZ. My family and I moved to Castle Rock from Las Cruces, New Mexico in March of 2018. We feel the community of Castle Rock is the perfect place to raise our two young children.  We are excited to explore all of what Colorado has to offer: camping, hiking, spending time at the lake and exploring all the cool little towns around this area.
