I started my Nursing journey almost 30 years ago. My first Nursing jobs were in the acute care setting—neurology, neurosurgery, otolaryngology, general surgery, orthopedics, the emergency department, and even a burn unit. After meeting my amazing Olympic husband, Jason, I shifted to community-based Nursing and served in home care, schools, and at Bethel University, where I ran the undergraduate skills laboratory.

I’ve always had a passion for Nursing and Education, and School Nursing is the perfect combination of the two, with so many opportunities to see how those worlds come together. I have four quickly growing children and love spending time outdoors camping and hiking with my family. We’re National Park junkies, and every summer our family mission is to get closer to visiting them all.
