Apply for Free & Reduced Lunch

Renaissance Secondary School participates in the National School Lunch Program, with Nutrition Services provided by DCSD. Although all students now receive one free lunch each school day, DCSD highly encourages all families to complete a Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application.

This application helps ensure your school receives critical state and federal funding. It also provides important benefits for eligible families, such as:

  • Free or reduced school fees

  • Athletics and transportation assistance

  • Field trip support

  • AP and college exam fee reductions

  • P-EBT and Summer EBT benefits

  • Additional summer feeding locations

Submitting household income information, even when meals are free, helps schools receive the funding and support services they qualify for.

You can apply online at www.myschoolapps.com. If you need a paper application, contact Susan Babineau at 303-387-0368. Applications are available in English and Spanish, and other languages can be provided upon request.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING FREE STUDENT LUNCHES

Meals for students in the Douglas County School District are currently free through the Healthy Meals for All program, which is funded by the State of Colorado. While free meals will continue through December 2025, the program could be eliminated in many DCSD schools, effective in January 2026. (The State plans to place two initiatives on the November 2025 ballot related to the funding of this program.)

We strongly recommend that you complete the application for free or reduced lunch via the National School Lunch Program, even if you are not sure if your family qualifies. Families approved for free or reduced meals through the national program will not be at risk of losing their free meals should the state program be discontinued.
